How does it work?
This tool is designed to quickly validate an Altered deck list and physically verify your cards using QR code scanning.
Here’s how it works:
- Import a deck by its ID or by scanning its QR code (available in the Altered app or on the official website).
- The tool will tell you if the deck list is valid or not, display the full list of cards, their quantities, and their status (such as valid, deck-building errors, suspended cards, errata, etc.).
- You can then scan each physical card using your camera to check that all required cards are present.
- Quantities update live, and checkboxes are automatically checked once a card is fully scanned.
You are not required to use the QR code scanning function; you can also manually check the boxes if you prefer.
You can click on a card name to view its image, check the quantity and status, and manually tick the checkbox if needed.
You can click on the magnifying glass to view the card on the altered.gg website.
Where to find Deck QR Code?
To be scannable, a deck must be set to public:
- Go to the "Decks" page.
- Open the deck you want to set to public.
- Click the "Edit (pencil)" button.
- Uncheck "Private" and save.
You can find the QR code for a deck directly in the Altered app or on the website:
- Go to the "Decks" page.
- Open the deck you want the QR code for.
- Click on "Share".
